Sizing & Fit
What size Laddu Gopal poshak should I buy?
We currently offer poshak in sizes 2 to 6 for Laddu Gopal Ji and Kanha Ji. To determine the correct size, measure your idol’s height from the base of the feet to the top of the head (excluding the mukut) in inches — that number is your size. This ensures the poshak sits naturally and respectfully during shringar.
How do I measure my deity to choose the right poshak size?
Measure your idol’s height in inches from feet to head. For a better fit, also consider the width at the widest point. If your idol falls between two sizes, we recommend selecting one size up for a more graceful drape.

Do you make poshak for Radha Rani Ji and Yugal Jodi?
Yes, we offer poshak for Radha Rani Ji in sizes 3 to 6. For Yugal Jodi or Kanhaji Darbar sets, both poshaks are thoughtfully designed to complement each other in color, fabric, and overall aesthetic.
Materials & Quality
Which fabric is best for Laddu Gopal dress?
The ideal fabric depends on the purpose of use. For daily shringar, soft and breathable cotton works best (see our Kanha Ji Dress collection). For festivals and special occasions, silk, art silk, and Banarasi fabrics with zari detailing are preferred. At Divyambar, we carefully select pure fabrics that balance comfort for the deity with a refined, premium appearance.
Are Divyambar poshaks authentic handmade or machine-made?
All Divyambar poshaks are 100% handcrafted by skilled karigars. From intricate embroidery to the final finishing, each piece goes through detailed manual work. Because of this authentic human touch, every poshak carries a slightly unique character, making it feel more personal and deeply devotional. Read more in Our Story.
Can I use these poshaks for daily shringar or only for festivals?
Both. Our cotton-based designs are ideal for everyday shringar — lightweight, easy to manage, and washable. Our silk and Banarasi collections are created for major festivals, gifting, and special occasions such as Janmashtami, Diwali, and Navratri.
Can poshak size or design vary slightly due to being handmade?
Yes, since each Divyambar poshak is handcrafted, slight variations in embroidery, stitching, or finishing may occasionally occur. These are not defects but a natural, beautiful part of artisanal work that adds to the absolute uniqueness of each poshak.

Returns & Care
What is your return or exchange policy?
If your poshak arrives damaged or significantly different from what was shown, we will immediately offer a replacement. For sizing issues, exchanges are available within 7 days of delivery, provided the poshak remains completely unused and in its original premium packaging. Custom-made pieces are non-returnable.
How do I wash Laddu Gopal dress at home?
For cotton poshaks, a gentle hand wash in cold water and air drying in the shade is highly recommended. For silk and heavily embroidered poshaks, dry cleaning or very gentle spot-cleaning is advised. Never machine wash or heavily scrub zari. We recommend storing the poshak securely in a muslin or cotton pouch (instead of plastic) to preserve the threads for longevity.
Brand & Trust
Where is the Divyambar workshop based?
Divyambar is an online-first luxury brand dedicated to serving devotees across India. At the moment, we do not operate a physical retail storefront — all our authentic collections are available exclusively through our official website or WhatsApp support.
Is a Divyambar poshak suitable for gifting?
Absolutely. Divyambar poshaks are masterfully designed to be immensely meaningful gifts for highly auspicious occasions such as housewarmings, baby showers, Diwali, and traditional weddings. We even offer the option to include a personalized handwritten note upon request.
How is Divyambar different from poshaks available in local markets?
Most mass-market poshaks are heavily machine-produced using artificial, synthetic materials and low-grade finishing. Divyambar poshaks are thoughtfully handcrafted with extreme attention to pure fabric quality, devotional detailing, and premium presentation. The difference is instantly visible in how our poshaks drape perfectly, how the fabric breathes, and how it dramatically enhances the overall shringar. Divyambar is not just about clothing — it is about offering your seva with absolute intention, uncompromised beauty, and deep respect.
Poshak Care & Storage
How to store Laddu Gopal poshak properly to maintain quality?
Always store your Laddu Gopal poshak in a clean, dry muslin or cotton pouch — never in plastic bags, as trapped moisture can damage delicate fabrics. For heavy zari and silk poshaks, wrap them in acid-free tissue paper. Keep them in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight to prevent color fading. Adding a few dried neem leaves nearby helps protect against insects naturally.
How to remove stains from Laddu Gopal poshak without damaging fabric?
For cotton and malmal poshaks, gently dab the stain with a cloth dipped in cold water and mild soap — never rub. For silk or Banarasi poshaks, spot-cleaning with a damp cloth is safest. Turmeric or haldi stains can be lightened with a few drops of lemon juice on cotton fabrics. For stubborn stains on silk, professional dry cleaning is recommended. Never bleach any deity poshak.
When should I replace an old Laddu Gopal poshak?
In the Vaishnava tradition, poshaks are replaced when they become visibly worn, faded, or when the fabric loses its softness. Many devotees rotate poshaks seasonally — lighter cotton for summer and warmer muslin silk for winter. Old poshaks should be respectfully immersed or placed at the base of a Tulsi plant, never discarded carelessly.

Does Divyambar offer Laddu Gopal mukut, pagdi, and jewellery?
